24–30 June 2012: 1st International Seminar for Members of Youth Parliaments and Youth Leaders, Strasbourg, France. On 24 – 30 June 2012 the 1st International Educational Seminar for the Members of Youth Parliaments and Youth Leaders of the Council of Europe member‐states will be held during the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, in Strasbourg, France.
The organisation of the seminar is coincided with the 40th Anniversary of the Youth Sector of the Council of Europe.
The aim of the seminar is to introduce youth leaders with the structure and principles of the Council of Europe, to increase their knowledge and competences in the realization of youth policy at the national level on the base of experience and resources of the Council of Europe in the field of youth work.
The seminar is addressed to the members of youth parliaments, governments and youth NGOs from the Council of Europe member‐states, youth leaders, deputies, representatives of the national youth policy structures and journalists.
They should be between 18 and 35 years old, be citizens of the Council of Europe member‐states, states joined CoE cultural convention and be motivated to get new knowledge, change experience, make new projects and develop youth participation.
