25-27 November 2013: EU-China Seminar on Youth Entrepreneurship, Brussels, Belgium
The European Commission and the All China Youth Federation (ACYF) plan to organise jointly an EU-China Seminar on Youth Entrepreneurship, involving other stakeholders such as the European Youth Forum, NGOs active in the field of entrepreneurship, national authorities, project promoters and enterprises.
The seminar will provide a platform for about 50 experts from the EU and from China to have a constructive exchange of experiences and good practice examples on youth entrepreneurship with a strong focus on creativity, innovation, development of life skills and attitudes aiming at stimulating the sense of initiative and participation of young people.
Anyone active in youth work or youth organisations relevant to the theme of the seminar can participate.
Participants can represent a non-profit or non-governmental organisation, a local or regional public body, an informal group of young people, a body active at European level in the youth field (ENGO), an international governmental non-profit organisation, an enterprise or a promoter of a Youth in Action project.
Selected participants will have to commit themselves to participate in the event for the whole duration and to actively contribute to the meeting.
Working language of the seminar will be English and Mandarin.
