“Discover e-volunteering” has been launched to promote the social activity in the Internet. Its aim is also to show, through the examples of the most interesting initiatives involving the e-volunteering activity, how non-governmental organisations can arrange and benefit from the e-volunteer cooperation. The competiton is organised in cooperation with the European partners. Its main aim is to promote good training, inform about advantages of e-volunteering.
On the occassion of the European Year of Volunteering, this year all European Union Member States can participate in the competition, which is open to non-governmental organisations that have cooperated or still cooperate with volunteers via the Internet. Projects into which the volunteers are involved can have a form of a one-time action, a cycle or a permanent activity and they can be related to any field of social activity.
The total sum of prizes in the Competition is 5 000 euro.
