ERYICA launched a photo competition on 16th May, in the framework of the Information Right Now! joint campaing with the Council of Europe.
This Facebook Photo Competition is open for young people’s pictures in order to promote the cause of the campaign and of course have the chance to win one of many great prizes.
Encourage young people to become a fan of the dedicated Facebook page on www.facebook.com/informationrightnow. Then they can take a picture that fits the theme “Young People Are Asking” and enter the photo competition directly. The uploaded picture should state the entrant’s full name, the date when and where it was taken and if they wish they can of course include a short message in the caption.
Great prizes are to be won!
Category 1: Winner by the number of votes. The overall winner of the competition in that category will be the picture with the highest number of votes until the end of the competition on 31st August. He or she will win a trip to the European Youth Centre Budapest (one return flight/bus/train ticket, 2 nights accommodation for one or two persons).
Furthermore, every two weeks we will award one winner with the highest number of votes in that time frame with an Amazon voucher worth 100,- €!
Category 2: Winner by decision of a jury consisting of the Youth Ambassadors and ERYICA (50/50 power division) for the best picture portraying the overall theme of the Competition. He or she will win a trip to the European Youth Centre Strasbourg (one return flight/bus/train ticket, 2 nights accommodation for one or two persons).
Furthermore, there will be a new sub-theme for each month (e.g. the picture best portraying rights of young people, etc.), which will be announced at the beginning of each month (for May, the theme will be announced after 23rd May only). Hence, there will be a total of 4 winners in this category, one each for May, June, July and August who will each receive an InterRail Global Pass.
