There has been a call for proposals for the EU-Canada programme for co-operation in higher education, training and youth: Transatlantic Exchange Partnerships, Transatlantic Degree Partnerships. (EACEA/37/10)
This programme aims primarily at promoting mutual understanding between the peoples of the EU Member States and Canada, including a broader knowledge of their languages, cultures and institutions, and to improve the quality of human resources in both the European Union and Canada.
There are two types of actions under this call, namely: Transatlantic Exchange Partnerships and Transatlantic Degree Partnerships programmes.
Transatlantic Exchange Partnerships (TEP) projects support EU-Canada consortia of higher education institutions and training institutions, to carry out joint study and training programmes and to implement student and faculty mobility.
It includes support for administration, grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff.
The maximum duration of TEP projects is 36 months.
Activities should start between 1 October 2011 and 30 September 2014.
Transatlantic Degree Partnerships (TDP) projects support is provided to develop and implement dual/double or joint degree programs. It includes support for the development work and administration, grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff.
The maximum duration of TDP projects is 48 months.
Activities should start between 1 October 2011 and 30 September 2015.
