15-21 September 2013: European Tobacco Youth Conference, Izola, Slovenia
The youth association No Excuse Slovenia has launched the first European Tobacco Youth Conference. The event that will focus on tobacco policy and youth and will be held in Izola, Slovenia between 15th and 21st September 2013.
The conference will host around 75 young Europeans to express their thoughts and suggestions to different European experts and decision makers. The event will mainly deal with 3 topics:
• tobacco policy
• activities of the tobacco industry
• prevention and cessation of smoking
The product of several workshops will be an action plan for future cooperation on the field of youth and tobacco.
Participants must be aged 15 to 30 and come from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Croatia and Turkey.
The organisers will cover 100% of the food, accommodation and local travel during the conference, while the participants will cover the participation fee and 30% of their travel costs to and from the event.
Deadlines and fees:
Regular: 31st August 2013 (Fee of 80,00 eur).
Late applications: after 1st September 2013 (Fee of 100,00 eur)
