AIM AND CONTENTS OF THE COURSE
This 30-hour course aims to increase awareness of what it means to be living in this digital age.
Why is this shift from the offline to the online world occurring?
How does it affect a young person growing-up with all this evolving technology?
How is the communication process changing from the usage of instant messaging?
An exploration using sociological and psychological perspectives will be given through out this course.
This course will also focus on ways how youth workers, teachers and all those involved with young people, can work better with today’s youngsters by using online tools and methods.

Youth Workers, Teachers, Youth Leaders, Parents & Youths
Clive Bonnici: In 2003, Clive graduated in Communications Studies and in 2010 he graduated in Masters in Youth and Community Studies at the University of Malta. He has worked in different youth organizations and is also the founder of two youth centres and a local NGO. During recent years he was also involved in various steering committees tackling topics like European Youth Policy, Volunteering and Training strategies on a European level. Clive has also designed and implemented a training course in Turkey on Youth and Technology.
Participants who attend at least 80% of the sessions will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Malta
University Consulting Limited.
