Public consultations on the draft National Children’s Policy


The Ministry for Justice, Dialogue and the Family is currently holding a public consultation on the draft National Children’s Policy. The aim of the Policy is to present a holistic picture of the issues related to children under the age of 18. Given the multi-faceted nature of the subject, the Policy aims to present horizontal topics such as active participation, protection, inclusion, rights and obligations, creativity, well-being, and socialisation which are of primary importance to all relevant sectors including education, health, justice, culture, media, and environment amongst others. The target groups of the National Children’s Policy are children themselves, parents, guardians, teachers, youth workers and all other stakeholders involved in the area of children.
