19-21 November 2013: Seminar “The role of youth policies in supporting Roma youth participation” Budapest, Hungary
Organised by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe, the seminar aims to mainstream Roma youth matters in youth policies, by developing a better understanding about the role of youth policy and youth participation to tackle Roma youth issues, with a particular focus on local and regional policies,
and by supporting youth organisations and youth policies representatives to develop concrete proposals in this sense.
Participants to the seminar will be either elected members or civil servants working in the sector of youth policy in their countries, with a focus on the local and regional levels, with an interest and motivation to work on Roma youth matters, or members of Roma youth organisations and other youth organisations,
interested to support Roma youth participation and to advocate for Roma youth issues in youth policy.
The working language of the seminar will be English.
Travel expenses and visa fees will be reimbursed according to the rules of the Council of Europe that will also provide board and lodging for the seminar.
