Training in Malta organized by the Malta Intitute of Management from the 25th till the 29th November, 2013 entitled ‘Developing Human Resources’.

The course will tackle different aspects of Human Resources Development including Human Resource planning, organisational approaches, identifying training and development needs, managing the HRD strategy, models of HRD, auditing existing resources and planning for the future.

 

The programme aims to help participants to improve their sills to carry out responsibilities in a more effective manner by means of practically activities and exercises and guidelines to manage and address challenges.

 

The programme consists of 5 days intensive class based learning programme of which 4 days will be dedicated to eight 3 hour modules, 9am – 12 pm morning session and 2pm – 5pm afternoon session. The programme includes a visit to 2 organisations together with an open discussion.

 

An internet forum will be set up following the programme in order to share experiences and pursue discussions.

Target Audience:

– Careers officers, educational guides and counsellors

– Head teachers/principals/managers of schools/ organisations offering adult education

– Other paid or voluntary management staff in the institution or organisation

– Non-teaching administrative staff

– Members of students/teacher councils in adult education

– Other, HR related managers profit/non-profit entities.

 

 

The participation to the in-service training courses can be fully funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme. The deadline for sending the grant application to your respective National Agencies is 30 April 2013.

Therefore those who wish to participate can obtain a training grant to cover both the course fee and accommodation and subsistence costs (in the Database course code is MT-2013-662-002) by applying with the National Agency in their respective countries.
