The International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) is organizing its VIII World Assembly from June 14-17 2011 in Malmo Sweden, together with the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA).
The ICAE World Assembly is the main event that brings together adult educators and learners from around the world every four years, and it is a celebration of the importance of adult education for the construction of just and equitable societies.
During the following days some 800 adult educators from all over the world will come to Sweden to participate in a range of events, all collected under the main title “A World Worth Living In”. The EAEA General Assembly, the EAEA Grundtvig Award 2011, the ICAE World .
A lot of the activities will also be broadcast live on the internet: live video streams and interviews with participants and lecturers.
