YO Fest: Intern Action Day brings together wide support for European Charter for Quality Internships and Apprenticeships
Internships can be a good way to get young pepople foot in the door. But they should not replace real jobs. That’s the message the European Youth Forum, supported by Emilie Turunen, is sending parliamentarians today at the Intern Action Day. They will hand over a Charter for Quality Internships to Parliament President Martin Schulz and European Commission Director-General for
Employment, Koos Richelle.
Quality on-the-job learning opportunities should be a priority to improve employment for young people in Europe.
