Who we are:
The training course will be organized by Association Youth Cultural Center of Vojvodina who will do Training Course using non-formal way of learning – through working on creative artistic methods. Members of association are experts in management in culture and art. Organization works on organizing educational, fun and culture activities for young people: youth info work, organizing volunteers, organizing all activities which improve quality of youth life;

Trainers:
First trainer will be expert for art photography and education of youth

About the Project

 

Projects stimulating young people’s spirit of initiative for employment through
media and photography.

 

The main goal of our training course “Youth in Media Action“ is to offer to participants new art photography techniques and learning methods for better access of unemployed young people to the new ways of self employment.

Increasing knowledge, learning methods and experiences of participants, which they can use in everyday work for unemployed youth helping them to take self initiative which will lead to their self employment.

Idea is to show that there is possibility to solve certain problem with application of creative methods of photography and art. This activity can lead to solution or point out a problem that can be resolved by working on it afterwards.

Activities on our training course: non-formal education and informal way of learning, ice-breakers, team building exercises, individual and group activities, work on practical examples in a small groups, discussions, debates, presentations, presentation of Youth in Action Programme and informing unemployed youth about new possibilities, presentation of the European Year of Citizens and the rights that go with it, project proposal witting, thematic art workshops, making photography, creating photo initiatives, photography art energizers, photography games, work on individual and group photo art-design creations, opening exhibition, photographing in contact with nature.

Target group on our training course are people actively involved in work with unemployed young people (youth workers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, social workers, volunteers).
Objectives:
– to stimulate unemployed young people’s mobility and active participation in local society.
– to stimulate young people’s spirit of initiative using method of creative photography for their ability to think imaginatively and originally.
– to increase awareness of the value and importance of youth participation as a form of active engagement through photography as a tool to develop and improve competences for personal, social and professional development.
– to promote young people’s commitment towards a more inclusive growth thorugh photography engagement
– to promote the access of unemployed young people to the Youth in Action Programme.
– to promote youth creative photo actions as a way of active social participation, and a way to acquire knowledge and skills useful for persons’ professional development.
– to foster and improve youth citizen’s creative participation for democracy of Europe.

Working language:
English – all participants must be able to actively communicate using English language

From 1st to 9th April 2014

Vrbas, Serbia

Partners:
All interested Program countries and Neighboring Partner countries.

Funding:
100% for accommodation will be covered and 70% of travel cost (Apex tickets) will be reimbursed after receiving original receipts.

Please: As we are applying on 3rd September deadline, be as fast as possible in sending to us preliminary agreement and partnership identification and do not forget to send us approximately your travel costs from your home town to Vrbas, Serbia.

Deadline for receiving preliminary agreement and partnership identification is 3rd of August 2013.
